Artemis ll Infographic
Illuminating the journey to Mars.
Concept
Let the starry sky above guide us toward the future.
The project was assigned to create an infographic design about Mission Artemis II. The design draws inspiration from light and its trajectories. As the central theme, light weaves through the entire composition, symbolizing an unknown and hopeful future.
Client Research
Artemis is NASA's renewed lunar exploration program, divided into three main parts. Artemis I is an unmanned mission that orbits the moon, laying the foundation for future missions. Artemis II will be a ten-day lunar exploration mission, setting a record for humanity's farthest distance from Earth. Artemis III will mark the return of the United States to the Moon after a long hiatus, and it will be the first mission to land a woman and a person of color on the lunar surface. The Artemis program is dedicated to preparing for future missions to Mars.

Process & Design Skill

In my creative process, I compare different design approaches by placing them side by side. This method allows me to quickly identify the strengths and weaknesses of each design.

By identifying the strengths and weaknesses of each design, I refine the issues and develop more improved versions. At this stage, the design concept usually emerges. I chose the concept in the lower right corner and continued refining it.

Complete the overall composition of each frame before unifying them.
Changes

Create negative space to align with the overall design and adjust the highlight position to guide the viewer's focus.

Adjust the typography placement while retaining the text information to create a cleaner overall visual.

Add more detail to the text and enhance the shadow of Mars. Adjust the position and angle of the spacecraft to better guide the viewer’s focus.
