Be Your Spotlight

Celebrating the Brilliance and Happiness of Canadian Artist

Concept

Everyone is the star of their own story; be your own spotlight.

The project involved creating designs for the JUNO Awards, incorporating artist photography and event-related typography. It aimed to capture the energy and charisma of the artists through geometric shapes and dynamic typography.

Client Research

The JUNO Awards were renamed from the RPM Gold Leaf Awards in 1971 and have been established for over 50 years. The name "JUNO" originates from Pierre Juneau, a Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) pioneer, with the aim of increasing public recognition for Canadian music and artists. This event features fan activities and industry networking while showcasing a diverse range of emerging Canadian creators.
